Their closest fight came in the first race when Guy Eldridge and crew Maryellen Goodwin took advantage of a port tack lift on the second beat to briefly overtake them but could not hold on. Susan Gardner and crew Garry Roman finished third.

Derek Ratteray and Leatrice Roman finished second in the second race, followed by class newcomers Paula and Peta Lewin. The Lewins improved to second place in the third race, followed by Eldridge setting up a close fight for second overall.

Smith again stretched out to lead the fourth race, while Lewin held second until the last beat, being passed by Eldridge after a tacking duel close to the finish.

Smith concluded the series with another victory while Ratteray finished second. Eldridge overtook Lewin on the run and covered her to the finish to take third in the race and second overall.

Smith ended the day with three points with Eldridge a distant second on 10 points and Lewin third with 12.
