Mr. Stigwood, who has put the Sandys Parish waterfront property up for sale, recently flew Mr. Gary Davidson and his wife and two children to Bermuda.

The Daily Express reported on March 24 that Mr. Stigwood, the producer of the movies Saturday Night Fever and Grease, made the gesture at the request of the Duchess of York, the president of Britian's Motor Neurone Association.

Mr. Davidson, 41, is paralysed from the neck down with the disease, a debilitating illness of the nervous system. His mind is intact and he uses a computer to communicate.

"The Duchess wanted to give the whole family a break,'' a friend said. "Gary has to be carried and his son Charleigh has had to help a lot around the house. This holiday will allow them all to relax.''
