The 12-round fight will be televised live from Caesars Palace and local fight fans can watch it at Somerset Cricket Club, BAA and National Sports Club.
Also on the card will be a light-heavyweight fight between five-time world champion Thomas (The Hit Man) Hearns and Andrew Maynard and a heavyweight encounter between top contenders George Gonsalves and Renaldo Snipes. There will also be a heavyweight feature fight involving the hard-punching, crowd-pleasing David Tua of New Zealand.
MOTOCROSS SCR There will be at least 25 riders competing in the Pepsi Motocross Nationals at Coney Island on Sunday.
Aaron Pace, Buddy Joell, Devon Moss and Malcolm Raynor will square off for the 125B class while the Hondo Bermuda duo of Ed Jones and Ras Mykkal will be challenging in their brand-new bikes. Meanwhile, former 125B champion Justin Belboda will be riding a Suzuki.
Kemo Simons will be leading the 80s, but watch for a stiff challenge from Jamel Hassell and Shaki Easton. Also expected to put in strong performances are Jamie Ford, Howard Paynter and Russell Burchall.
In the battle for 125C honours, it will be Chris Maxwell, Leroy Maxwell and Michael Burgess.
Joell and Moss are also competing in the powerful 250C class.
There will be a riders meeting tonight at 7.30 p.m. at the Admiralty House in Pembroke.
ATHLETICS ATH The Bermuda Track and Field Association wishes to invite athletes interested in running a 5,000 metre track race to the National Stadium tomorrow evening.
The event will commence at 6 p.m. sharp and will be officially timed.
