the May 24 Marathon Derby.

The race -- one of the highlights of the local road running calendar -- will once again begin in Somerset and finish at Bernard Park.

Competition is open to all residents of Bermuda as of May 1 with four separate categories -- junior (16 to 19), open (20-39), masters (40-49) and seniors (50 and over).

All runners must be registered with the Bermuda Track and Field Association.

Entry forms can be obtained in Hamilton at the Sportseller in Washington Mall, The Pro Shop on Reid Street and International Sports Shop on Bermudiana Road.

Forms must be completed and returned with a $10 entry fee by May 12. The fee for late entries is $25 and will be accepted no later than May 18.

Race numbers will be issued at Devonshire Rec. on May 19 from 5.30 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and on May 20 from 3 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.
