Bell named November Player of the Month

Damali Bell expressed elation after being named the Player of the Month for November, helping his club, Robin Hood, to concede only one goal in the month.

Bell, who is known more for his cricketing abilities, is honoured to have this awards bestowed on him and thanked his teammates and coach.

“This is a great honour for me, I haven't been in the headlines for football, it is mainly cricket, so it's good to get the accolades for my work during the season,” said Bell.

“We are having a good season so far considering this is our first time being the Premier Division, and we want to just continue to work hard for each other and keep focussed.

“We have an excellent group of guys at the club, and although this honour was given to me there are other players that have contributed to the cause, so it's a team effort.

“I think we have a pretty good defence and that's a credit to our coach Andrew Bascome who has shown us how to defend as a team and that has shown with only allowing one goal in November.

“I'm proud of my team and hopefully this is just the start of good things to come for us.”
