Dandy Town striker Angelo Simmons has dedicated his Digicel Player of the Month award to his Hornets team-mates.Simmons has been in a rich vein of goalscoring form over the last month, helping Hornets to a five point lead at the top of the Digicel Premier Division.The Bermuda international, who joined Hornets from Boulevard Blazers in the summer, believes the change of scenery has given him a new lease of life“If it wasn't for my team I wouldn't have been nominated for this award,” he said.“I'm very happy to be the Digicel Player of the Month but I have to give a lot of credit to my team-mates.“I've been putting in a lot of hard work at Dandy Town this season and I feel I owe them a lot. From now to the end of the season I'm just going to keep working hard at it.“I'm getting a little bit older and I'm at a stage in my career where I really want to pick things up.”Simmons, who has scored ten goals for Town this term, is determined to help his side lift the title.“We have the most goals scored and least conceded; we have a very special team,” he said. “Hopefully we can pick up a few trophies this season, including the Premier Division title.”
