Robin Hood celebrated their maiden win in the Senior Winter Netball League at Bernard Park at the weekend.Hood breezed past winless Lady Rams Too 33-11 with Katie Brown (20 points) and Abbie Caldas (13) accounting for all of their team’s points.T-yanna Hayward led Lady Rams Too, who remain anchored at the bottom of the standings with nine points.Also recording their first league win of the season were Lady Rams who edged SS Warriors 46-38 in an evenly contested match.Vernicka Symonds led the Lady Rams, scoring with 23 points while Nikita Trott added 11. Salina Bascome replied with 32 goals in a losing cause for SS Warriors who are still searching for their first league win of the season.League leaders and defending champions Lady Bluebirds got past SS Tigers 50-39 in a high-scoring affair.Danielle Raynor led Lady Bluebirds with 30 points while Ebony Burgess chipped in with 20. Jahtuere Trott (23) and Rose Saunders (11) led the SS Tigers’ scoring.Suffering a first league loss of the season were previous league leaders Blazing Bluebirds who slumped to a 48-39 defeat at the hands of Signworx.Danielle Onyia led Signworx scoring with 31 points while Jasmyn Renfroe added 14.
