UBP unveils new election candidate

Senator Suzann Roberts-Holshouser was this morning unveiled as the United Bermuda Party's General Election candidate for St George's South.

The former St David's MP pledged to fight for social issues, particularly the welfare of women and children, if elected in the East End constituency.

“The system for social support on the Island is broken,” Sen Roberts-Holshouser told a press conference.

She will be up against her former UBP colleague Donte Hunt who won in Constituency Four three years ago before quitting to help form the Bermuda Democratic Alliance and Pastor Leroy Bean of the Progressive Labour Party.
