Leading FCO official to visit Island

Tony Bates, the Head of the Bermuda and Caribbean Section for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office in London, will be visiting Bermuda early next month.

According to a Government House spokesperson, Mr Bates’s visit, from 3 December to 7 December, is “for familiarisation and to discuss the current issues of interest to the UK and Bermuda”.

He will meet with Government Ministers, officials and members of the Bermuda Police Service and Bermuda Regiment while in Bermuda.
