Senator praises health workers

Senators focused on the increase in positive coronavirus cases during their session yesterday.

During the Motion to Adjourn, Ernest Peets, Senate Leader and Minister of Youth, Culture and Sports, gave thanks to the staff members of Bermuda Hospitals Board for their work during the pandemic.

He said: “Our healthcare workers are on the front line every single day and are dedicated to our well being.”

Opposition Senator Ben Smith emphasised the importance of adhering strictly to Covid-19 regulations during the holiday season.
