Changes at the top of reinsurer MS Amlin
Christopher Beazley has stepped down as chief executive officer of global reinsurer MS Amlin AG.
Mr Beazley will pursue opportunities outside of MS Amlin after leading MS AAG as CEO for the past three years.
He originally joined MS Amlin in 2007 and has held several leadership roles across the MS Amlin group of companies over the last decade.
The MS AAG board of directors has concluded negotiations with a well-respected reinsurance leader with over 30 years of industry experience to replace him.
The candidate has successfully led global strategic initiatives across the Americas, Asia, and Europe. This international experience across key markets is well-suited to drive continued growth and innovation at MS AAG. The business eagerly anticipates announcing the new CEO in the near future.
As part of the transition, Martin Albers, currently serving as chairman of the board of directors for MS Amlin AG, will function as interim CEO.
Albers’ depth of company knowledge and expertise ensures MS AAG’s ongoing commitment to providing a high-level of service through this transition.
Albers commented, “On behalf of the entire team at MS Amlin, we thank Chris for his service and dedication to the company.
“He has navigated MS AAG through a complex transition, laying a strong foundation to carry the business forward. We appreciate his contributions as CEO and various leadership roles over the past decade. We wish Chris every success in his future endeavours.”
