The chief executive officer of the Bermuda Business Development Association called the latest Rims Riskworld conference “another great business development mission” for the island.

After the Tuesday Bermuda networking reception with 200 in attendance, the three-day Rims conference in Atlanta, Georgia wrapped up on Wednesday.

Mr Hart thanked Chubb, Butterfield, AIG, Markel, KPMG, and SS&C Technologies for paying all the costs of the Bermuda reception.

“Their valued contributions made this important annual networking event possible,” he said.

Mr Hart was part of a delegation that also included David Burt, the Premier and finance minister, Jason Hayward, the Minister of Economy and Labour, John Huff, CEO of the Association of Bermuda Insurers and Reinsurers, and Helen Souza, BDA business development manager.

“We look forward to returning to Riskworld next year in San Diego, California,” Mr Hart said. “In the meantime, we will continue to support Bermuda’s globally significant risk and insurance solutions industry at the BDA’s second annual Bermuda Climate Summit from June 26 to 27, and the BDA’s third annual Bermuda Risk Summit in March 2024.”

The BDA’s next business development mission will be held in Toronto, Canada from June 15-17.
