Crowned Brother Dr. Khazriel Ben Yehudah and Crowned Brother Horaliel Ben Yehuda will present a two day lecture and workshop starting this evening.

This is the first visit to the Island for the two men, although representatives visited the Island in the '80s and established a local following, many of which emigrated to Israel to join the community.

Progressive Labour Party MP Dale Butler and local businessman Rodney Smith will leave Bermuda on Saturday for a week-long visit to the community based in Israel.

In reference to the Bermudians who uprooted and moved to Israel, Mr. Butler asked: "Why?'' He said: "Why leave Bermuda with all of its wealth and beauty to go and live in the desert? This is what we want to find out.'' Dr. Khazriel said: "With movements like ours, there is always apprehension, but we have been in touch with family members who may have had concerns, letting them know that their children did make the correct choices.

"The Bermudian members are making strong contributions to our community and they are a credit to greater Bermudian society.''
