Lauren Rothwell, a Bermuda Rugby Football Union board member, public relations officer and Bermuda women’s player, has been awarded a women’s leadership development scholarships.

Rothwell is among 14 women from different rugby unions to be handed the scholarships, an increase on the ten who were awarded in 2018, as part of the International Women’s Day, which will be held tomorrow.

The scholarships aim to offer women in rugby more opportunity for leadership development, with more 100 applications received globally.
