Dandy Town 5Somerset Trojans 1Dashun Butterfield scored a brace as Dandy Town won the PDL KO Cup 5-1 over Somerset Trojans at the National Sports Centre (NSC).Skipper Seion Darrell opened the scoring, while Hubert Butterfield and Tre Manders also got in on the scoring act.Jahi Simmons scored Trojans goal in a losing effort.Town were given the lead through Darrell early the first half, but Simmons levelled matters just before the half to leave the game deadlocked at the break.It was all Town after the interval, however, as the Butterfield’s rip the west enders to pieces.Dashun Butterfield scored the second, before Hubert Butterfield ballooned the lead to three goals.Manders made it four, with Dashun Butterfield ending the thrashing with his second on the day.“Today was a good game,” said winger Saki Tuzo. “We didn’t win anything this season in the senior division so it feels good to be lifting this title.“We came out today and played hard, should the determination and hard work that is required to win big games, so we are happy.“I’m proud of the side, and hopefully one day soon they will all be playing in the senior team.”
