Missed chances prove costly for touring BBFS team

The Bermuda Brazilian Football School (BBFS) recorded a draw and a loss on day three of the Brondby Cup competition in Denmark yesterday.In the opening game against Skjold, the Bermuda squandered a handful of chances but were unable to find the net.Skjold also had a few chances of their own but the game resulted in a 0-0 stalemate.BBFS’s sixth game of the round-robin saw them lose 3-1 against Vallensbaek.Vallensbaek took the lead after ten minutes before Erik Correia equalised on the stroke of half-time.The second half saw Vallensbaek earn a penalty only to be denied by goalkeeper Michael Williams.They would, however, score twice more to earn a spot in the group final on Friday morning.The BBFS will play their final match in the Brondby Cup against Brondby FC on tomorrow.
