Bermuda make winning start

Naquita Robinson's Bermuda won 1-0

Bermuda’s Under-20 girls team got their Caribbean Football Union World Cup qualifier off to a good start last night in Haiti when they beat Puerto Rico 1-0.

The goal was scored by Aaliyah Nolan late in the first half and Bermuda hung on to the narrow lead to pick up a crucial victory ahead of Sunday’s match against the host nation.

The three teams are in group two with the top two teams advancing to play the top two teams from group one in the Concacaf qualifying tournament.
