Back-to-back wins over Hull City and Middlesbrough looked to have thrown a lifeline to City, who sacked their manager Lee Johnson this month; however their play-off hopes are now all but over.They face Swansea City on Saturday and Preston North End on July 22.Meanwhile, Zeiko Lewis, the Bermuda winger, returns to action on Sunday when his Charleston Battery side take on Birmingham Legion at home in the United Soccer League Championship.The rest of the campaign, which was suspended in March because of the Covid-19 pandemic, will involve clubs divided into eight groups to complete a 16-game regular season followed by a single-elimination play-off.Battery won their only game before the suspension, a 1-0 victory over Atlanta United 2, with Lewis converting from the penalty spot.Games played before the suspension of the season will count towards the allotment of 16 overall games.
