Mark Wade, president of the Bermuda Football Association, has been elected as a member of the Fifa disciplinary committee.
Wade was elected at today’s 71st Fifa Congress, which was streamed live on the Fifa website from Zurich, with the 211 member associations attending via Zoom.
During agenda Item 11, the Congress was asked to approve the proposal to elect the members of the Fifa disciplinary committee. Wade was elected as a new member of the committee for a term of four years, which takes effect immediately.
Wade will serve with 16 others on the committee which has members from countries like Saudi Arabia, Honduras, Togo, Iceland, Brazil, Tahiti, England, Austria, Tunisia, Singapore, Mexico, Venezuela, Vietnam and Tonga.
