BASA to host swimathon at Saltus

The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association (BASA) will be holding a 12-hour swimathon at the Saltus Pool on Saturday from 6am.

Local swimmers will be raising funds for the BASA programmes and are aiming to swim more than 150,000 metres.

Head coach Ben Smith said: “In the past our swimmers have successfully raised funds in two previous swimathons to resurface the Saltus Pool and conduct some much needed renovations to the facility.”

“We would love to have the support from the local community to assist us with the success of this fundraiser.”
