Rearranged schools relay finals at NSC

The middle and senior schools relay finals that were postponed because of torrential rain last week have been reschuled for Friday at 6pm at the National Sports Centre.The popular event, hosted by Bermuda Pacers Track Club, ended prematurely last Friday because of a heavy downpour, leaving four finals to be held.Those finals will begin at 6.10pm with the girls 4x100 metres middle schools race, followed at 6.20, 6.30 and 6.40 by the boys 4x100 metres middle school final and the girls and boys 4x100 metres senior schools finals.The middle schools participating in tonight’s finals are TN Tatem, Clearwater, Sandys Secondary Middle School, Whitney, Dellwood and Somersfield Academy while the high schools in the finals are Berkeley, CedarBridge and Warwick Academy.Pacers will also make medal presentations this evening to the schools that were not able to receive their medals because of the weather.Those schools are:Primary schools: Harrington Sound, Francis Patton, West End, West Pembroke, Port Royal and Prospect Primary.Middle schools boys: TN Tatem, Clearwater and Dellwood.Middle schools girls: Whitney, TN Tatem and Warwick Academy.Senior schools girls: Berkeley, Berkeley ‘B’ and CedarBridge.Senior schools boys: Berkeley, CedarBridge and Berkeley ‘B’Tonight’s relay finals:6:10: Girls 4x100 metre Middle School6:20: Boys 4x100 metre Middle School6:30: Girls 4x100 metre Senior School6:40: Boys 4x100 meter Senior School
