Bus route to be affected by roadworks next week

Buses will not service the Cedar Hill route in Warwick next weekend due to roadworks, the Ministry of Transport announced today.

Trench work will be carried out at the intersection of Longford Hill and Middle Road on May 29 and 30, which will prevent buses from stopping in the area.

The digging is part of a joint effort by power firm Belco and the Government to move power lines and other utilities underground.

A spokeswoman for the transport ministry said passengers travelling to Longford Hill, St Mary’s Road or Cedar Hill should make other arrangements.
