Lane closure on Blue Hole Hill

A section of road in Hamilton Parish will be reduced to one lane of traffic starting tomorrow, the Ministry of Public Works announced.

A ministry statement said the closure will affect Blue Hole Hill, west of Grotto Bay near the Rubis petrol station, so that trenching can be done.

This work will be carried out by Alternative Concrete Solutions between 9am and 4pm. It is scheduled to finish by April 19.

Traffic in the area will be managed with stop-and-go signs, and no vehicles will be permitted along the closed lane.

The ministry encouraged the public’s co-operation during this time and apologised for any inconvenience that may result from the lane closure.

Questions can be directed to Roger Hart, of ACS, on 735-5143.
