Bonjour Quebec: flights to Montreal start in June
Competing flights between Bermuda and Montreal are set to launch next month as both BermudAir and Air Canada start service to the Canadian city.
The June flight schedule, published online by Skyport this week, states that BermudAir will start twice a week service to Montreal on June 12, with flights on Thursdays and Sundays.
Air Canada, meanwhile, will launch its own Saturday service to Montreal on June 14.
The schedule also includes the return of the American Airlines daily service to Washington, set to start on June 5, and the launch of BermudAir weekly service to Richmond, Virginia, which will start on June 7.
The Bermudian-based airline, scheduled to launch its direct service to Providence, Rhode Island, on May 22, will also bolster its service to Orlando in June by adding a Wednesday flight.
JetBlue is also expected to increase the number of flights between Bermuda and New York in the middle of next month.
The June flight schedule is otherwise largely consistent with flights in May.
In addition to its new Montreal flight, Air Canada will continue to offer five weekly flights to Toronto.
Meanwhile, American Airlines will offer daily service to Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia and Miami in addition to its relaunched Washington route.
JetBlue’s daily service to Boston is set to continue throughout the month, as will British Airways daily service to Heathrow and the United Airlines daily service to Newark.
Delta Air Lines will continue to make three weekly flights to Atlanta and four weekly flights to New York JFK.
BermudAir, meanwhile, will continue to offer five weekly flights to Boston, Westchester and Toronto; three weekly flights to Baltimore; two weekly flights to Halifax, Hartford and Raleigh-Durham; and weekly flights to Fort Lauderdale and Charleston.
