Man injured after crashing into a tree in Pembroke

A man was taken to hospital on Friday night with a suspected head injury after a crash near the junction of Cedar Avenue and Angle Street in Pembroke.

A police spokesman said details were limited — but initial information suggested the man lost control of his motorcycle and struck a tree.

The spokesman added: “He has been transported by ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital for further treatment of his injuries, the extent of which is unknown at this time.”
