In response to the article, "Couples Pet `torn to pieces' by Dogs'' dated April 14, 1999, I feel that just because of that incident you should not put down all dogs that attack because of that.

Even if dogs attack and kill, you should either make the owners pay a fine or have them decide what should be done to their dog. If it were your dog, you would not want it to be killed, would you? I feel that we should all think very carefully about what should be done and not just act on what we hear immediately.
