sector, Centre Investment Services Limited (CIS) has adopted Dellwood Middle School.

And to kick off their new relationship, CIS this week equipped the school's office with two Ricoh fax machines, five filing units, and a Sharp photocopier.

On hand for the presentation were a group of M1 students, CIS representatives and members of the Dellwood Board of Governors.

"In adopting Dellwood Middle School, CIS is making a commitment to the children of Bermuda and their education,'' CIS charity committee member Jennifer Page said.

Mrs. Page added that although the adoption was still in its infancy, CIS would continue to pledge both time and money to the students of the school.

"We hope our involvement will encourage other businesses, parents and friends to come forward to improve the educational environment of all the school children of Bermuda, both public and private,'' she said.

The adoption came about after CIS discussed the needs of the school with Premier Pamela Gordon, the Government Board of Education, the Dellwood Board of Governors, Dellwood's headmistress Carol Bassett and several teachers. And last week, CIS charity committee members toured Dellwood to gain a full appreciation of the school's physical and social environments.
