The Pembroke Hamilton Club (PHC) Mini-Minor `A' Team came out on top when they hosted a Fun Day complete with games, a fun castle, popcorn and pizza.
The event was held at the PHC stadium in Warwick on January 31 with the boys, and one female player, managing to raise more than $600. The team's sponsor, Sea Venture Overseas Shipping, donated a further $500 toward purchasing the 20 uniforms.
Grateful and proud, the boys decided to honour Sea Venture chief executive officer Benita DeSilva with a replica jersey at a recent presentation ceremony.
The youngsters can be seen sporting their flashy black and white duds during Mini-Minor matches each weekend.
