Dear Sir, I am disgusted by this incident and I feel that legal action should be taken.

People living in Bermuda should be able to feel safe leaving their pets on their own property, without having to worry about other dogs entering their property.

I think that the owners of the two dogs, the Akita and the mongrel, should be ashamed of themselves. I think that it is ridiculous for these dogs to be roaming the streets especially knowing the viciousness of them. I feel badly for George and Cindy Correia because any pet owner knows that losing a pet is like losing a part of the family. These two dogs should be put down, especially since this is not the first incident in which they have done harm.

I also think that the Correias are doing the right thing by taking legal action.

This is a sad incident for any pet lover to hear about and I feel the owners of the two dogs should be held responsible.

If someone feels the need to own a vicious dog, it should be kept in a cage at all times unless they are on a leash.
