More than 400 young people took advantage of the opportunity to voice their opinions on various subjects, ranging from teen pregnancy, homelessness, violence, drugs, tourism, recreation and Independence.
Of that number 30 students, ranging from five to 19 years old, received awards for their efforts.
They were presented with cheques of $500 for first place, $250 for second, and $100 for third in their respective categories during a special ceremony hosted by Premier Pamela Gordon at City Hall on Monday.
