Celebrating excellence

Meal Management and Hospitality students proudly displayed their talents when they hosted their culmination exercise at the end of the course. Special guests included the principal, deputy principals, teachers and parents. This impressive endeavour won the students high praise for a job well done.

Students coordinated all aspects of the function, included planning and preparation of a wide selection of treats.

These students successfully completed the two prerequisite courses to be eligible for this course, Meal Management and Hospitality.

The Family Studies course includes the study of food in relation to health as well as a peep into the hospitality industry.

Students move through the basics in the science of food to planning and preparation healthy nutritious meals.

They explore the nutrition related and lifestyle diseases and can aptly plan therapeutic menus for these conditions.

They were also exposed to international cookery, cake decorating, catering and event planning and coordinating. These courses prepare students to pursue a diversity of career options in the hospitality Industry and beyond.
