How I feel about writing

Clearly inspired Dymond Desilva is all smiles as she prepares to write.

Writing is enjoyable! I think writing in fun because I can write about whatever I want (most of the time). For example, I may want to write about the bird that landed on my windowsill this morning and write about what it was doing or what colour it was.

When I write I feel free (it feels like it's me and only me in the room). And when I'm really into what I'm writing, I get this feeling. I don't know why, but it feels I'm dreaming.

It is hard for me to write when I am uncomfortable - it feels like I have no brain! So I just stay in my position and daydream. On the other hand, to make myself comfortable, if I am at home, I go outside and relax on the dock (like I did this afternoon).

And if I'm at school I rest my head on the table and write or put my feet up in the empty chair across from me. (That is if Mrs. Francis is not looking).

I feel that writing is an expression of your thoughts and feelings. For example, if you are angry you might want to write about what made you angry. You might want to write about what you want to be when you get older, what your dreams are and what your lifestyle may be.
