Second at the exhibition

High flyer: This kite, made by Chez Harvey, was deemed 'Best Kite in Show by a Junior'.

The thing I like most about this school year was the Bermuda Annual Exhibition, declared Trevor Simons.

It was on three days, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. There were lots of activities, animals, plants, flowers, furniture, and lots of food, as well.

There were also prizes given out to people who enter things. There was a pig race and a singing trio. My favorite part of it was the horse race.

Corey Lewis also felt that in April the Annual Exhibition was a fun experience. My class entered a square foot garden. Just getting the soil for the garden was fun! We sectioned the box into nine parts. We planted fruits and vegetables. It all paid off, because we won second prize!

Prize winning garden: This square foot garden won second place in the Annual exhibition thanks to the hard work of gardeners (from left) Corey Lewis, Jade Spencer, Quinn Outerbridge, Kristoff Isaac, Dionte Thain, Michori Jones, Riley Taggett, Cassidy MacDonald, Ryan Hopkins (missing: Loria Packwood)
