Why we enjoy Sandys Secondary Middle School
Achieving the place on the Principal's list at Sandys Secondary Middle School is no mean feat. A student must have passing grades in all classes and a cumulative grade average of at least 90 percent. In the first quarter 12 students accomplished this, with hard work, perseverance and lots of support from parents, teachers and other mentors. Here two students reflect on their achievement.
Since starting at Sandys Secondary Middle School, my time has been an adventure. During the first quarter of the school year I accomplished being on the Principal's List.
The second quarter is nearly over and I am trying to stay on the Principal's List. I have been helped by many wonderful teachers, such as Ms Robinson in M1 Math.
Math is one of my strong subjects. I also have Ms Brookes for social studies, Ms Swan for science and Ms L. Robinson for English.
Ms Robinson is the M1 Team Leader. I think making her the team leader was a great choice. She pushes us and makes sure we get our work done.
I really like Ms Robinson in M1 Math because she is smart and she pushes us to the limit and to a point where we really have to think.
All the things I have accomplished so far have been from the teachers working daily to teach us students.
Another portion is from my family and parents. My parents did a great job raising my brothers, sister and me.
They are very proud of what I have accomplished lately. I want to accomplish more in the future.
My parents, along with everyone else, have helped me to be a great student.
I am happy to be a part of Sandys Secondary Middle School and to accomplish things during my time here.

Even though I have only been at Sandys Secondary Middle School for six months, I am enjoying it.
I have made so many new friends. The teachers are excellent, and are one of the main reasons for my academic success.
I achieved Principal's List for the first quarter of the school year.
Since day one of my life, my parents and family members have greatly affected my performance.
They constantly tell me that I should have high standards in academics and athletics.
Also, they remind me of the consequences of poor performance in the classroom.
I really appreciate what my family and teachers have done to help me be an excellent student.
Sandys has given me multiple opportunities to get involved and be successful in just six months. I can't wait to see what school has in store for me over the next two and a half years.
