We’ve had so many experiences in Primary 5 like playing bingo with the senior citizens at the Sylvia Richardson Rest Home. Other experiences included making our award winning zucchini bread, taking time to go to the Peppercorn Ceremony, having a Christmas party, even though some people did not get to attend. The best thing out of all the other things was the trip to Grotto Bay!The reason we loved it so much is because they organised our meeting so nicely and we met so many people and learned new things that we did not know about. For example we learned all about the different types of jobs in a hotel. Did you know that the reason they named the hotel Grotto Bay is because they have over 17 grottos at Grotto Bay? They even have two caves that guests are allowed to go in; one you can swim in and the other is a spa. They have a hot tub and a swimming pool and the ocean. That’s why we love Grotto Bay!
