Congratulations to Janelle Simmons.The 17-year-old, former Warwick Academy student, attends Lawrence Academy in Massachusetts, and despite being the only Bermudian there, is making quite a name for herself.In addition to her art work, she is in an acapella singing group, a member of the varsity basketball team, a peer counselor, and has achieved academic high honours.Her gombey painting was chosen by the Headmaster to be the design on the cover of an invitation being sent to a social event to Lawrence Academy.
