What are you learning about production and video behind the scenes at the BF&M National High School Fitness Challenge: I am learning that there comes much preparation for something this grandeur, especially dealing with a big cast, usually I would only have one person, but instead I have to film a lot of students! I’ve learned that in film it is what you make no matter what stressful situation you may encounter, you just have to pull through, and I had fun enduring this challenge as well.

Who has helped you along your path to your goals): My Mother and My Father.

Name: Juanee Scott.

Age: 26.

Hobbies: Travelling, charity work, watching films, family/friends time.

Further education aspirations: MBA in entrepreneurialship.

Career aspirations: I want to have my own production company specialising in local films, as well as a performing arts school catering to all arts. Aside from local aspirations I am into humanitarian work and I want to make documentaries about my world travels to remote countries.

Behind the scenes with the National High School Challenge has taught me just how much dedication the youth have. I am also very impressed with the level of talent shown by the young people. It goes to show that through hard work and passion you can always make things happen regardless if people help you or not.

My role models who have encouraged me the most are my family and friends for sure, Patricia Nesbitt who I’ve known for a long time and worked with on productions, my cousin KaraSmith who has given me some of the best advice working in the industry and various filmmakers whom I look up to.

I am a recent graduate of the university of Westminster in London, currently with a BA in film and television production. My main interest is in Producing.
