Girl beaten in Paget still in hospital
A teenage girl remained in hospital yesterday after being assaulted at a Paget home on Wednesday and found injured outside the residence.
According to police, they were called to the scene on South Road, near Cobbs Hill Road around 11.50am.
They have declined to give any further information about what happened, beyond saying yesterday that the girl was in a stable condition on a general ward at the hospital.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, particularly anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident and may have seen two or three men travelling in a car, to contact the Hamilton Criminal Investigation Unit on 295-0011, said a spokesman.
