College to host winter commencement
Bermuda College will host its first winter commencement in ten years this week to celebrate 20 students earning degrees, diplomas or certificate qualifications.
Winter commencements are only held when more than 15 students successfully meet their programme requirements in December.
The ceremony will be held in the colleges North Hall Lecture Theatre at 4pm on Thursday, with Education Minister Dame Jennifer Smith scheduled to attend.
The college will close at 3.30pm that day so that staff and faculty can attend, but evening classes will continue as scheduled.
