A man denied an assault and unlawful detention of a woman yesterday.Dudley Swan, 61, pleaded not guilty in Magistrates’ Court to an assault on Nora King and unlawfully depriving her of her liberty.The incident is alleged to have happened on August 15 in St George’s.Magistrate Maxanne Anderson adjourned the case until September 2 and released Mr Swan, from St George’s, on $3,000 bail.She ordered him to have no contact with the alleged victim.• It is The Royal Gazette’s policy not to allow comments on stories regarding court cases.
