Van fires could be linked

Police believe three van fires this month could be linked.

Firefighters attended Fentons Drive, Pembroke, after a white Nissan van was set alight at about 12.05am today.

The same vehicle was damaged by fire when it was left on Parsons Road, Devonshire, near Happy Dale Road, on September 11.

A white Daihatsu van was also set on fire on Fentons Drive on September 17, at 5am.

A Bermuda Police Service spokesman said: “Investigators have not ruled out the possibility that the three incidents may be linked.”

Witnesses should call the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744 or Crime Stoppers anonymously on 800-8477.
