A 14-year-old girl in the care of the island’s child protection agency who has gone missing several times has been located, police said today.

A police spokesman said Destiny Winters was found “safe and well this afternoon”.

He added that she was returned to a government home.

Police earlier said that she attended school yesterday morning but did not return to the home as scheduled.

It was the fifth time the teenager had gone missing in less than two months.
