Championships brought forward

The National Cross Country Championships have been brought forward to Saturday, November 30 at the Botanical Gardens after a scheduling conflict with the original date, December 7. The champions for the series will be announced based on the races that have taken place since September, with the series finishing at Astwood Park. The age groups for the series will be the same for the National Championships, with runners competing in nine age groups from under-10 to senior masters 60 and over and 70 and over. “We have had a good turnout and some good races and we are expecting the same for the championships,” Donna Raynor, the Bermuda National Athletics Association president, said.
