Smith is likely to be the man to beat, although he faces some stiff competition from three-time 80cc and 125 champion Aaron Pace who has returned from school. Kemo Simons, the current class leader, Duprey Joell, Neilson Degraffe and Justin Belboda are others expected to challenge.
Returning after a short suspension will be Howard Paynter, in his last year in the 80 class in which he faces the likes of Shaki Easton, Steven Panchaud and the on-form Treadwell Nesbitt. In the competitive 60 class, Jakai Brimmer currently holds a five point edge over Aaron Cannonier with Gary Cann and Maurice Simons also in striking distance. Racing at Coney Island begins at 12.00.
