Stabbing was treason

Dear Sir,

This letter is one that I thought I would never write. This letter is about the stabbing of a visitor yesterday morning.

As far as I'm concerned and a lot of people that I've talked to, his crime is a crime not only against this person, but also against the Crown. His crime is one of treason.

What he has done reflects on all of us, all Bermudians and non-Bermudians that call Bermuda home.

Bermuda's tourism cannot afford for things of this nature to happen. And because of this his punishment should be very harsh. We need to make an example of this man to ensure that any would be robbers will think twice before committing this crime.

I believe that it has escalated to the point where a visitor is stabbed and robbed in front of his wife and child, because we have been to lenient.

Lets bring back cat-o-nine tales or just do everyone a favour and save money and just hang him.

I'll give you the rope.
