A Bermudian father-of-two was shot dead in Pennsylvania last night.

Garrow Lightbourn, 26, who was known as Trevor, was killed at the Bright Hope Community in Pottstown, near Philadelphia, at about 10.30 p.m..

He was found on the ground at the corner of Myrtle Avenue and West Walnut Street and taken by ambulance to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A dog was also reportedly shot dead at the scene.

A man reported to be Mr. Lightbourn’s cousin, Cornell Shawell, appeared before a district judge this morning accused of the shooting.
