The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 1.91 points or 0.16 per cent at 1174.13.

Insurance group Argus was up 9 cents, or 2.3 per cent, at $3.99 after 4,300 shares changed hands.

Fellow insurance firm BF&M remained at $16.70 after 2,300 shares traded.

The BSX Insurance Index was down 1.95 points, or 0.12 per cent, at 1,668.18.
