Butterfield slips 2.9%

Down day: only Argus shares rose in Bermuda Stock Exchange trading
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index today closed down 22.81 points or 1.91 per cent at 1,174.17.
The Bank of Butterfield was down 5 cents, or 2.9 per cent, to $1.65 after 10,798 shares traded.
Utilities firm Ascendant was down 10 cents, or 2.2 per cent, at $4.40 after 600 shares sold.
And insurance firm Argus was up 1 cent, or 0.3 per cent, at $4 after 13,300 shares changed hands.
The BSX Insurance Index closed down 4.50 points, or 0.27 per cent, at 1670.85.
