A crash in St David’s yesterday morning caused extensive damage to a car and a wall but no injuries.

According to a police spokesman, officers responded to a reported single vehicle collision on Great Bay Road, St George’s, at around 5.30am.

“It appears that a car being driven along Great Bay Road collided with a wall outside an area home,” the spokesman said.

“There were no reported injuries, however the car and wall were damaged.”

One witness said she was asleep when the crash took place, but when she looked outside the damaged car had stopped just in front of her home. She told The Royal Gazette last night that she was relieved the accident had not been more serious.
