Two people accused of importing cannabis had all charges against them dropped by prosecutors yesterday.
Jamal Woodley, 23, of St George’s and Katelyn Simmons, 27, of Pembroke, had been charged with conspiring to import $9,600 of cannabis into the Island.
However, during a hearing at Magistrates’ Court, prosecutor Maria Sofianos said that the Crown would offer no evidence against the pair.
Magistrate Archibald Warner subsequently discharged them both.
